UPDATE July 2016 - No new hall, sadly Why do we need a new hall? All Saints Hall is beginning to show its age. It was put up as a temporary building more than 40 years ago. All Saints and the Diocese of Southwark have developed plans to build a completely new hall on the other side of the church. These plans, which now have planning permission, will be funded by the sale of the current vicarage and the development of that site. Once the new hall is built the old hall will be demolished and a new vicarage built on the site of the existing hall. The new hall will have much better facilities for Ripplings. At present a start date for building the new hall has not been set but we hope it might be Spring or Summer 2015. Latest update January 2016 Our new hall will probably not be ready until Spring/Summer 2017 |
